PWMA Publishes New Standard, PW301, Marking Standard for Spray Nozzles Used with Portable Pressure Washers

Cleveland, Ohio – (January 25, 2013) – The Pressure Washer Manufacturers’ Association (PWMA), as an assistance and guide to the manufacturers, purchasers, and users of pressure washers has developed and published PW301, Marking Standard for Spray Nozzles Used with Portable Pressure Washers.

The purpose of this standard is to provide a uniform marking method for Spray Nozzles used with Pressure Washers to help indicate Pressure/Flow Rating as well as the Spray Angle of the nozzle. Spray Nozzles are used to dispense water at various pressure and flows as well as at various spray angles.

This standard lays down the methodology to markings used to indicate pressure, flow and spray angle. This standard applies to pressure washers intended for the household, farm, consumer, or commercial/industrial markets. The pressure washers covered by this standard are portable, engine or electric motor driven, in which the discharge line is hand supported and manipulated.

PWMA Publishes New Standard, PW203, Dimensional Standard for M22 Thread Connect Coupler Receptacles and Plug Collars for Portable Pressure Washers

Cleveland, Ohio – (January 25, 2013) – The Pressure Washer Manufacturers’ Association (PWMA) as an assistance and guide to the manufacturers, purchasers, and users of pressure washers has developed and published PW203, Dimensional Standard for M22 Thread Connect Coupler Receptacles for Portable Pressure Washers.

The purpose of this standard is to provide uniform dimensions method for M22 Thread Connect Coupler Receptacles for Portable Pressure Washers. M22 couplers are used to join or separate quickly fluid conducting lines, without the use of tools or special devices, typically related to the pressure washer hoses, pumps, spray guns and wands.

This standard lays down the interface dimensions for M22 thread connection receptacles and applies to pressure washers intended for the household, farm, consumer, or commercial/industrial markets. The pressure washers covered by this standard are portable, engine or electric motor driven, in which the discharge line is hand supported and manipulated.

Cleveland, Ohio – (January 11, 2013) – The Pressure Washer Manufacturers’ Association (PWMA) as an assistance and guide to the manufacturers, purchasers, and users of pressure washers has developed and published PW202, Dimensional Standard for 3/8" Quick Connect Coupler Plugs for Portable Pressure Washers.

The purpose of this standard is to provide uniform dimensions method for 3/8" Quick Connect Coupler Plugs for Portable Pressure Washers. 3/8" Quick Connect (QC) Couplers are used to join or separate quickly fluid conducting lines, without the use of tools or special devices, typically related to pressure washer hose, gun and pump connections.

This standard lays down the interface dimensions for 3/8” QC connection plugs and applies to pressure washers intended for the household, farm, consumer, or commercial/industrial markets. The pressure washers covered by this standard are portable, engine or electric motor driven, in which the discharge line is hand supported and manipulated.

The purpose of this standard is to provide uniform dimensions method for 1/4" Quick Connect Coupler Plugs for Portable Pressure Washers. 1/4" Quick Connect (QC) couplers are used to join or separate quickly fluid conducting lines, without the use of tools or special devices, typically related to the pressure washer spray nozzle.
